Unique art jewelry inspired by The Met collection.
The small figures on these earrings portray an ancient likeness of Eros, the Greek god of love, carrying a torch with a decorated disc above his head. Our design is borrowed from a pair of gold earrings with Erotes (late 4th–3rd century B.C.), carefully crafted with well-articulated faces, fingers, and toes. The originals were made during Greece’s Hellenistic period, and now reside in the Museum’s Greek and Roman art collection.
