Say hello with art cards from The Met.
Artists have ardently painted bouquets since the still life flourished as an independent genre in the early 1600s. These pop-up notecards showcase a selection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist bouquets immortalized by Claude Monet (French, 1840–1926), Auguste Renoir (French, 1841–1919), Mary Cassatt (American, 1844–1926), and Vincent van Gogh (Dutch, 1853–1890), each plucked from the Museum’s collection of 19th-century paintings.
